Beverly Ann Suraci Spyropoulos passed away on May 5, 2020. Her private funeral will take place on Monday, May 18.
She was a member of St. Ann parish from the early 60s to the late 80s, before she and her husband retired and moved to Myrtle Beach, SC.
Beverly was a regular at the Saturday 5:00pm Mass during the years when Monsignor Awalt was pastor.
She was a D.C. native and was a graduate of the Academy of the Holy Cross and Seton Hill College.
She spent a year in Columbia teaching English and taught elementary school in Montgomery County.
She will be remembered for her wit, her care and understanding of people with special needs, and her love of music.
Survivors include her nephew, Charles Christopher Walter, niece Angelica Y. Lower (Robert), and many friends, nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her beloved husband, George E. Spyropoulos, her parents, Dr. X. Charles and June Suraci, her brother, Charles X. Suraci, and her sister, Elizabeth J. Hand.
May the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
