As we all know and feel, the last two years have been an amazing challenge for all of us! COVID-19 has changed the way we do almost everything. Amid shutdowns, lockdowns, face coverings, social distancing and repetitious hand washing, I am happy to say we never closed our doors. When public Masses were prohibited, we kept our doors open for private prayer and went to work at offering Mass via livestreaming as well as confession in our converted reconciliation chapel. A world-wide pandemic did not stop us from serving you. It only changed our methodology.
A great amount of what we accomplished was due to your generosity. When the pandemic changed the economic outlook, many of you continued faithfully supporting our parish. Thank you! You have been generous stewards of God’s blessings.
It is for this reason I write to you today. The needs of our church community continue as we begin a new faith formation year, and without your help, the parish cannot meet the needs of our ministries, families, facility or staff. The gift of your prayer and the support of your treasure are more important now than ever, and so I am asking you to prayerfully consider renewing and strengthening your commitment by “Taking the Next Step” in support of our weekly Offertory Collection. Please review the enclosed material and consider the opportunity to Take the Next Step, even if it is a small one. Once you have made your decision, please return the enclosed form to the parish either by mail or by placing it in the offertory basket at Mass.
Once again, thank you for your generosity and for all you do for our Church.
