This year St. Ann's Church is again one of the venues hosting Art All Night, an annual Tenleytown nighttime festival!
On Saturday, September 24, St. Ann's Church parishioners Natalie J. Plumb, Bob Bright and renowned pianist Martin Labazevitch will present a musical offering beginning at 7:30pm. The church will also host guided tours of their history and architecture at 8:00 and 9:00pm. Come and learn about the church's beautiful reproduction of Michelangelo's famous "Pietà," newly restored Létourneau organ, well known Christian saints depicted in their stained glass windows, and history as a historic site in Tenleytown. For all of these events, the church will be open from 4:00 to 11:00pm, with a 5:00pm Mass service, and a self-guided tour will also be available.
Simultaneously, from 7:00pm to midnight, the Parish Gym becomes a pop-up art gallery featuring artists spanning sculptors, painters, mixed media, and everything between. Live music and dance bring added vibrancy to this expansive space, which will also feature cocktails and a lounge. Just outside, interactive games, outdoor sculpture, and dessert trucks bring whimsy for the young and young-at-heart.
For Church tours, please enter at the front door of the church building, at the corner of Wisconsin and Nebraska Avenues NW. For Gym events, please enter at 4404 Wisconsin Ave NW Washington, DC 20016.
