Our parish is pleased to support the poorest parishes in DC! We will collect on Saturday, April 5 from 9:00am to 12:00pm. Parishioners are being asked to concentrate on peanut butter and jelly, pasta sauce (all in plastic), and Cheerios, but any non-perishable food donations are very much appreciated. Thank you!
Donations to food banks have declined and food is in much greater need.Troop 100 DC asks you to support the John S. Mulholland Family Foundation, Inc. Contactless Food Drive. This Drive supports 800 local families *monthly* — your help is critical! Please pitch in to restock the pantry.
Please adhere to the following 3 major items of need: *Cheerios *Peanut butter and jelly, no glass containers *Pasta sauce, no glass containers We kindly ask only for these items.
Come by 4001 Yuma Street Northwest, drive down Yuma, turn right into our parking lot, and you'll see signage, between 9:00am and 12:00pm to drop off items.
If you cannot make it then, please drop off your donations BEFORE then in the Church sub-sacristy, located inside the church, open during the hours listed on our website (https://stanndc.org/). Directions: From Yuma Street, enter the handicapped ramp door. Turn left. Proceed to the end of the walkway. The door to your left without turning again is the Sub-Sacristy.
Marked grocery bags to fill are currently available at every entrance of our church, or you may use your own bag.
If you are unable to participate in the food drive, we welcome your monetary donations at jsmff.org/donate. Monetary donations are used to purchase fresh produce, milk and eggs, meat and poultry.
If you would like to volunteer to help staff the Drive, please contact Elizabeth Snee at [email protected]
