Solemnity of Mary, the Holy Mother of God is a
feast day of the Blessed Virgin
Mary under the aspect of her motherhood of Jesus Christ the Lord, Son of God. It is celebrated by the Roman Rite of the Catholic Church on
1 January, the Octave (8th) day of Christmastide.
Masses are at 9am and 11:00am (Click Here to View Livestream). Due to the dispensation, the Solemnity of Mary, Mother of God is not a Holy Day of Obligation in 2021. There is no First Friday Holy Hour Jan. 1.
