St. Ann is pleased to be part of the 9th Annual Summer in the City Campaign to support the John S. Mulholland Family Foundation. JSM conducts the only summer food drive, a time when food insecurity in Washington is at its peak. JSM operates food pantries at St. Thomas More, St. Francis Xavier, St. Luke, St. Vincent de Paul and Holy Name.
Please bring your donation to the sub-sacristy of non-perishable food to by or before all Masses on September 24-25. Please limit your donations to the following food items, and please note that we cannot accept glass containers:
●Canned Tuna or Chicken ●Dry Cereal (Cheerios, Bran Flakes) ●Canned Vegetables (Green Beans, Peas, Corn) ●Soup (Hearty Varieties are best) ●Canned Fruit, any kind ●Peanut Butter and Jelly (plastic containers) ●Baked Beans (cans) & Rice (any size) ●Pasta and Pasta Sauce (plastic containers) If you are unable to participate because you will be out of town, monetary donations are greatly appreciated as they are used to purchase perishable items such as fresh produce, milk and eggs, meat and poultry.
