Hunger does not take a vacation this summer!
St. Ann is pleased to be part of the 11th Annual Summer in the City Campaign to support the John S. Mulholland Family Foundation. JSM conducts the only summer food drive in the region, at a time when food insecurity in Washington is at its peak. Proceeds of the Drive will support 9 food pantries in Catholic church pantries in the city’s most-distressed neighborhoods.
Please bring your donation to the sub-sacristy of non-perishable food to by or before all Masses on August 24-25.
If you cannot make it then, please drop off your donations BEFORE then in the Church sub-sacristy, located inside the church, open during the hours listed on our website (https://stanndc.org/). Directions: From Yuma Street, enter the handicapped ramp door. Turn left. Proceed to the end of the walkway. The door to your left without turning again is the Sub-Sacristy.
Marked grocery bags to fill are currently available at every entrance of our church, or you may use your own bag.
Please limit your donations to the following food items, and please note that we cannot accept glass containers:
●Canned tuna or chicken
●Canned soup, hearty varieties
