St. Ann is hosting a Flea & Craft Market on Saturday, October 1, 9:00am to 2:00pm.Have fun, meet your neighbors, rent a table to sell your items, donate sellable items to St. Ann and/or volunteer! Proceeds benefit our parish and the DC Family & Youth Initiative, helping local teens in foster care build lifelong connections with caring adults. We also welcome youth vendors at a discounted rate. Email [email protected] with your interest, to volunteer, with questions and more.
Where and when can I donate items for the St. Ann table(s)? Donations must be placed in boxes or bags labeled “Flea Market,” and may be dropped off either during weekend or daily Masses next to the piano on the north side of the church, the door closest to the school. You may also contact the parish office to schedule a drop-off at (202) 966-6288 or [email protected] If you can note a suggest price per item, we appreciate this, as you know best what it will sell for, and we want to respect that. What types of donations are you accepting for the St. Ann table(s)? We are accepting small to medium-sized good-quality items. A few examples are household items, new or like new clothing, new books, and so on. Email us at [email protected] with questions and photos about specific items. May I donate furniture for the St. Ann table(s)? We are only looking for small items, but if you have a really nice piece of furniture that would make a great addition to our event, please send us a photo at [email protected] How can I volunteer to help? Please sign up here to help before or during the Flea and Craft Market: stanndc.org/volunteer Can I bring my own table(s) to sell items? You may bring your own table. However, a "table" is still representative of the space you would occupy during the event. So even if you do want to bring your own table, you would still need to pay for the space you'll occupy in the Gym. Is the $50 fee for one table the only fee involved or are the participants required to donate a percentage of sales? $50 is the only fee; you keep all your own profits. How many vendors are expected to be in the space? To be announced! Is this event indoors or outdoors? The event is inside, though we may make use of the outdoor space in the case of good weather. Are my donations for the St. Ann table(s) tax deductible? Yes. Will masks be required? Since DC law no longer follows a mask requirement indoors, we also do not require it. However, people may do as they wish. Will restrooms be available? Yes, absolutely! 1 restroom for men, and 1 restroom for women: Each have several stalls.
