Join local Catholics in praying the rosary every Thursday at 12:00pm noon in front of the Russian Embassy on the Wisconsin Avenue side for peace and an end to the aggression in Ukraine.
The group plans to continue gathering throughout Lent and perhaps beyond, depending on the course of events. It takes only 20 minutes, and parking has not been an issue.
Like at Fatima, where the Blessed Mother encouraged prayer for the conversion of Russia and the Soviet Union, this is an opportunity to prayerfully stand at the border of Russian soil, in solidarity with Ukraine and all peace-loving people, humbly seeking God's grace and the Blessed Mother's intercession in bringing an end to this unspeakable conflict, and to beseech God to transform hearts, including our own.
