From July 18 through July 26, the Feast of St. Ann, St. Ann Catholic Church welcomes a replica of the Tilma of Our Lady of Guadalupe! Masses and adoring hours are daily, and we will recite the Novena to St. Ann following every Mass.
The tilma was hand-embroidered by the nuns of the Convent of the Perpetual Adorers of the Blessed Sacrament in the city of Morelia in Michoacán, Mexico.
Our Lady of Guadalupe appeared in Mexico as the pregnant Mother of God to Blessed Juan Diego, and Aztec Indian, on December 9, 10, and 12, 1531. She left a Miraculous Image of her appearance of his cactus fiber cloak, or tilma, which still exists today for all to see in the Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe in Mexico City.
