5/28/2020 Update: I'm sure you are aware that Mayor Bowser is beginning 'Stage 1' plan here in DC to begin to lift restrictions. Unfortunately, this phase still limits church gatherings to ten people at a time, so the Archdiocese has instructed us we will need to wait for future stages before we can return to a more normal celebration of sacraments.
Regrettably, we are not ready to reopen for public Masses at this time.
5/25/2020 Update: Despite recent news from the White House encouraging religious institutions to open, Masses at St. Ann’s Church are still closed to the public; we cannot yet safely and prudently welcome worshipers. As a parish of the Catholic Archdiocese of Washington, we will reopen once we receive permission from Archbishop Gregory.
For the safety of all, the pastor, staff and parishioners are working on a worship reopening plan that is secure and prudent. Even as our plan for reopening is developed, naturally, it will be important to stay informed with any evolving information about specific instructions when attending Mass at St. Ann’s Church.
We will keep you promptly informed. Thank you for your patience. May God bless you. We are praying for you.
