In accordance with the new Archdiocese of Washington and CDC guidelines, starting this weekend, masks are now required for all individuals over the age of 2. Vaccination status does not exempt persons from this requirement.
Last week, St. Ann was happy to send two faithful teens in our Youth Program, Ronan and Fred, to join 25+ teens from throughout the Washington Archdiocese attending Leaders Inspired To Evangelize (LITE). They had a great time and grew in their Catholic faith!
On July 25, the Church will celebrate the World Day for Grandparents and the Elderly for the first time. In proclaiming this day, Pope Francis invites us to reflect on the care and dignity we owe to our elders. At the same time, the day is a reminder that Jesus calls us throughout our lives to be His witnesses. Grandparents and elders are witnesses to the perseverance and love that are the hallmarks of faith. Let us give thanks for these good and faithful witnesses and the gift they are to our Church, our parishes and our families.
