This Program is open to parents of young and adult children alike: All parents need community and support! Parents, you may wonder what "Walking Faith Together" is about. This Program invites you to join your fellow parents in accompanying your children in their growing faith, while honing your own alongside a supportive community, helping you to be more prepared to respond to tough situations and questions. We are here for you!
I’m delighted to extend you an open invitation to our new Parent Program at our parish! This Fall 2022 Program is called “Walking Faith Together.” This Program is open to parents of young and adult children alike: All parents need community and support!
As you know, the teen Youth and Parish School of Religion Programs at St. Ann are unique opportunities for our teens to slow down and connect with their Catholic values, making God a priority by participating in peer community service, spiritual and social activities.
Parents, you may wonder: Should my child be involved in the Parish Programs? What do they think of it? Are they encouraged? What's the point? How can we make it work in our everyday lives and routines?
This Fall, we hope you can take the first step and be an example for your child in their walk of faith by joining the Parent Program. In so doing, you’ll be accompanying your child in their growing faith, while honing your own, and be more prepared to respond to tough questions.
“Walking Faith Together” involves our hearts, and invites us to reflect on the inner movements of our hearts and those our children experience at church. That said, we hope to provide a space for parents to strengthen their faith by sharing experiences and ideas as adults, couples and a family.
