Deborah Sternberg, described by critics as a “spine-tingling soprano,” is praised for her flexibility, stage presence, and radiance of tone. She is an enthusiastic performer of art songs and new music, and is also acclaimed for her work in the Baroque and Classical eras.
Ms. Sternberg regularly performs as a professional chorister and soloist for D.C. area choirs such as The Washington Chorus, The
Washington Master Chorale, and The Choral Arts Society of Washington, and has a robust private voice studio.
Her first full-length CD, Birds of Love and Prey, was a winner of the
